Festivals

Come back often to see where Murder By Six has been at Festivals, Pop-ups, and Craft Shows! We love to give shout outs to fun people we meet.

There should be a page for each festival we are at but this will be our “memories” log. There is also a new EVENTS CALENDAR link. Each date will also have it’s own page so you know what will be happening.

During most festivals, we will host at least ONE Solve! game, as well as have our hard copy games and books available for sale. Live Demonstrations will be held.

Some shows will be a Live Action mystery game or Zombie Hunt, not necessarily a SOLVE! game. If this is the case, we won’t have hard copy games available during the event, but maybe during breaks.

FLAG CON November 23

We were at Flag Con 23 on Saturday, November 4.  Met some really cool players and had a blast with in a pit fighting.  Not Pit Fighting.  But fighting in a pit.

Flower City Mini-Con 07/27/19 at the Mall at Greece Ridge.

I want to give a shout out to my new buddy, Lucien.  I had a great time hanging out with you.  Thanks for introducing me to Indo and I will definitely keep your game suggestions in mind.  I am always looking for new ideas for Survival:Heaps expansion packs.  But I might just take our really cool chat and make that into a game, all by itself   What do you think about that? I am so very much looking forward to seeing you at the Flower City Main Event next spring.  Please keep in touch and you can have your dad contact me through Facebook, at any time.

And to all the parents I talked to:  Yes, I do keep in mind that reading, math, and critical thinking skills are an important part of development.  And it doesn’t matter if there is a learning disability or not.  By spending time with your kids, just spending that time, you are teaching them that they are vastly important in our fast-paced world.  Which, to me, is more important.

My mom, sisters, and I played board and card games all the time.  Mom taught and encouraged us to touch and explore our environment.  We didn’t have all the money in the world, but I never really felt it.  We went to parks, museums, camping, rec halls, playgrounds, you name it.  Every weekend.  During the week, we would get out the atlas or encyclopedia and pick a country, and Mom set aside money from the food budget to make a meal from that region.  We “traveled” without leaving the apartment.  Sometimes it was a disaster, but it was always fun.  Board games, all the time.  Even on weeknights.  And I can tell you, in my strange career, those board games sometimes helped me out more than college.  My hat is off to all of you!

Rotary Ribs, Rhythm, & Blues 07/20/19

Hot, hot, hot!!! Weekend at Emerson Park.  I want to thank the staff for NOT heating the shower water!

I met a really cool couple, Rudy and Tina, from Area 51 Crystals.  You should check them out on Facebook.  They were one of my neighbor vendors.  Freindly and funny, great to chat with!

James, it was so awesome of you to constantly check on us.  I really enjoyed talking with you, throughout the weekend.

Sharon, great to see you up and around.  I wish I could have gotten a ride on one of those monster 4-wheeler golf carts, but I’m glad you got motored around!

To the guys at Smokehouse BBQ.  You made killer cheeseburgers and I want to thank you for answering my questions.  And for staying open late for me.
